Le Cri de la Soie

Gabriel, a psychiatrist, and Marie, a dressmaker, are two seemingly very disparate characters who share a strange fascination with silk and end up falling in love. For Marie, the pleasure of touching silk is so exquisite that she, one day, is arrested in a store for cutting a piece from a dress on display. When war breaks out, they will have to separate and endure hardships, but at all times they keep their only wish intact: to meet again to resume their love relationship.
