Divided We Stand

The only man likely to put Maisie and Bert asunder is Bert himself. After 17 years Maisie has decided she can't take any more of his uncouth behaviour and - not prepared to wait until death parts them, or to move out of her home - she has built a wall down the middle of their living room.
