Begoña, a waitress at an elegant Bilbao club, gets the shipping man Javier Uriarte to place his father as captain of the merchant ship Urkia. Begoña meets Esteban, head of a gang of robbers that operates in the estuary and also travels in the Urkia. The trip turns out to be very different from what was expected, as the ship transports smuggled weapons to an African country.
