The Ed Wynn Show (1958-59)

What conflict is in the show often arises from Ed Wynn's weekly arguments with stuffed-shirt city officials. One week he's flouting their edict that the college kids cannot room in his home Another time he's trying to protect the job of an elderly crossing guard. Jacklyn O'Donnell and Sherry Alberoni play his two granddaughters in competent style. Herb Vigran is good as Ed's crony, a worry wart of an attorney who's constantly trying to teach Wynn to be practical.
