Adventures of Superman

Produced for first-run syndication rather than for a television network, this show was the first to feature Superman. It aired from 1952 to 1958 and was sponsored by cereal manufacturer Kellogg's. The show's first two seasons were filmed in black and white, whereas seasons three through six were filmed in color (but were originally telecast in black and white).
