In a world filled with uncertainty about the future, Moe Sakuraba lives by the motto of enjoying the present. Choosing not to pursue stable employment, she spends her days indulging in her desires through excessive eating, late nights out, sleeping in, and impulsive shopping without worrying about what lies ahead. What allows her to live so freely is her own “offsetting technique,” a personal philosophy inspired by accounting practices.
