Amelia is a hardworking and dedicated wife to Jack and a loving mother to Lea, Miro, Nonoy, and Olive. Despite having a happy family, they are poor and are always in constant threat of being homeless. One day, Doris, Amelia's high school best friend, offers her a suspicious job. Desperate, she accepts and ends up being a drug courier of a huge syndicate. She ends up in prison, leaving her family all by themselves. Years later, newly released, Amelia finds her children and husband and tries to rebuild her broken family.
