The merchant Blomberg is out in the countryside with his daughters and housekeeper when the idyll is suddenly shattered. The daughters head off to have fun with two young guys from Copenhagen who are on a road trip, and the vagabonds Pat and Patachon seize the chance to interfere for their own gain. The preserved material is the original Swedish version titled 'Landsvägsriddare', translated to 'Tyvepak' in Danish. The film was a huge economic success to the then Swedish owned production company Palladium. It is the first film, in which Pat and Patachon appear as a team, although not in their final constellation: As always, Pat is played by Carl Schenstrøm, whereas Patachon is embodied by Aage Bendixen instead of Harald Madsen. In 1890, Pontus, the starving writer, wanders the streets of Christiania, in search of love and a chance to get his work published. All he meets is defeat and suffering while his sense of reality is withering. One moment he is delighted and the next he curses everybody. All the time he manages to maintain human dignity and pride.

A gentle comedy offering the promise of easy social consensus. Harry (Helmuth) is a simple old-time shop porter offered a chance at self-realisation when he's bequeathed a sum by an unknown relative (via several levels of fiscal blood suckers). He decides to engage a butler to take good care of him for a time. This is a man of distinguished upper class service, but a generous nature which happily integrates with Harry's small but colourful world of drinking buddies and crackpot neighbourhood kids.

While Bertil Lindström works at the Swedish embassy in Paris, his wife Gabrielle spends the summer alone in Sweden. After a phone call to her, he starts to think of all the things she can possibly be doing separated from him.

A filmed circus revue performance. The song number in the revue, which has since become most famous, is Osvald Helmuth's show "Her on the corner, down in the basement". Of other features in the revue, which were particularly well-known is "Your heart is in danger, Andresen" and "The tea" commode. At the same time the film was the subtitle of the film.

On New Year's Eve, the convicted murderer, Strong Henry, escapes from prison and collects his son from the orphanage. A prisoner who has just escaped from prison finds the body of Jensens, a marshal, in Jensens' shop. Fearing that he will be suspected of murder, he moves the body in a trunk to a forest, where it is to be hidden. On the way, he loses the trunk from his cart and Jensen from the trunk. A few cunning minds in town have seen through Andres' wealth and devise a plan to secure a share of the wealth by appointing the tailor as director of a newly started bank - and then exploiting his naivety.

Svend come back after a year of travel as a mate. Inger and Svend's father has been waiting him with longing. Conversely, Svends brother Thorsten, jealousy at Svend. Both of Inger's love for Sven and because Svend take over the family fishing boat. After a new argument in the family takes Svend space with another skipper, so that Thorsten can get the boat. Thorsten sabotage the radio, so that Sven and Inger can not talk. So reports Bluewater storm!

Folk comedy with Osvald Helmuth in a brilliant role as the butcher Mortensen, who wins a fortune at the roulette table and engages a baron to train him in the role of a consummate gentleman. It gives him, he thinks, a chance to conquer the seamstress in his life. As top-trimmed as you can make butcher Helmuth, the trio, together with the baron's sister, go to the castle meeting with the aristocracy. The film tells the story of a boy and his great love for horses, especially a beautiful white stallion, to which he becomes very attached. When he hears that the horse is to be slaughtered, he flees with it, and it becomes an escape that is not without drama.

Like all other fairy tales, this one begins with: Once upon a time. Once upon a time, there were two friends, one was an actor in Copenhagen, the other in Oslo. The one in Copenhagen was called Osvald, and one day he was very angry. He stood in front of his director and told him what he thought of him in general and the tasks he was given at his theater in particular. So Osvald left.
