
Sven Unterwaldt

Sven Unterwaldt is a German film director and screenwriter, who began making amateur films as a teenager and later worked as a sketch writer and director for TV shows. He went on to make his feature film debut with Wie die Karnickel, later achieving major box-office success with films like 7 Zwerge – Männer allein im Wald and its sequels. Unterwaldt has continued to direct and write for cinema, including recent family films such as Die Schule der magischen Tiere 2 and 3, and has received several awards for his television and film work. He is also a member of the German Directors’ Association.
