Thekla Ahrens was born on 24 July 1906 in Mühleberg, Kanton Bern, Switzerland. She is known for Der König lächelt - Paris lacht (1936), All for Veronica (1936) and White Majesty (1933). She was previously married to Ernst Schmid-Ahrens. Her dreams of becoming a movie star behind her, Thekla Ahrens returned to the theater, her first love, and moved to Berlin. From 1939 on and throughout the 1940s, she was active there on stage and in radio plays.
