Amor e Revolução is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT and originally broadcast from April 5, 2011, to January 13, 2012. Created by Tiago Santiago, with collaboration from Renata Dias Gomes, Miguel Paiva, and Eliana Garcia, and directed by Reynaldo Boury, the telenovela stars Graziella Schmitt, Cláudio Lins, and Lúcia Veríssimo. The production was the first Brazilian telenovela to portray the period of the military dictatorship as its main theme. Set between the 1960s and 1970s, the story follows Maria Paixão, a young woman involved in the armed resistance against the military regime, and José Guerra, a military officer who secretly opposes the government's actions. Despite being on opposite sides of the political conflict, they fall in love and face persecution, violence, ideological disagreements, and personal tragedies while fighting for their ideals and their relationship during one of the most turbulent periods in Brazilian history.

Esmeralda is a Brazilian telenovela produced by SBT in association with Televisa and originally broadcast from December 6, 2004, to July 19, 2005. It is a Brazilian adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Esmeralda (1997), itself based on the original story by Delia Fiallo. Adapted by Henrique Zambelli and Rogério Garcia, the telenovela stars Bianca Castanho and Cláudio Lins. The story follows Esmeralda, a young woman who has been blind since birth after being accidentally switched with another baby shortly after her birth. Raised by a humble family in the countryside, she grows up unaware of her true identity. When she falls in love with José Armando, the son of a wealthy landowner, their romance is threatened by family secrets, prejudice, social differences, and the revelation of the truth about her origins.

Vende-se um Véu de Noiva is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by SBT from June 16, 2009, to January 9, 2010. It is based on the radio serial of the same name written by Janete Clair, which was also adapted into the 1969 telenovela Véu de Noiva by TV Globo. Created and adapted by Íris Abravanel, with collaboration from Jaqueline Vargas and Yoya Wursch, and directed by Del Rangel, the telenovela stars Day Mesquita, Daniel Alvim, Elaine Cristina, Marcos Winter, Thaís Pacholek, and Zé Carlos Machado. The story follows Maria Célia and Rubens Baronese, a couple whose lives are changed by a tragic conspiracy involving Maria's cousin Eunice, who plans to take away their newborn child. Years later, the consequences of this crime affect their families, revealing secrets, betrayals, ambition, and the struggle for truth, justice, and reconciliation.

Created by Íris Abravanel, with collaboration from Rita Valente, Grace Iwashita, Raphael Baumgardt, Caio Britto, Carlos Marques, Gustavo Braga, and Fany Lima, with text supervision by Yves Dumont and direction by Jacques Lagoa and Annamaria Dias, the telenovela stars Tainá Müller, Sérgio Abreu, Thaís Pacholek, Marcelo Saback, Erom Cordeiro, Flávio Galvão, Renata Zhaneta, and Talita Castro. The story follows Victória Castro and Lucas Nogueira, two young people who fall in love while living in Portugal. After returning to Brazil, their relationship is threatened by secrets, family conflicts, revenge, ambition, and the power struggles of the influential Montenegro family. O Direito de Nascer is a Brazilian telenovela produced by JPO Produções and broadcast by SBT from May 21 to October 2, 2001. Based on the Cuban radio serial El Derecho de Nacer (1940), written by Félix B. Caignet, it was adapted by Aziz Bajur, with collaboration from Jayme Camargo and Alcione Carvalho. Directed by Roberto Talma and José Paulo Vallone, the telenovela stars Guilhermina Guinle, João Vitti, Dhu Moraes, Jorge Pontual, Ana Cecília Costa, Luiz Guilherme, Elaine Cristina, and Esther Góes. Set in Havana at the beginning of the 20th century, the story follows Maria Helena, a young woman who becomes pregnant after being abandoned by her fiancé. Afraid of her powerful father's reaction, she gives birth in secret and entrusts her son to the maid Dolores. Raised away from his family, Alberto grows up to become a doctor, unaware of his true origins. Years later, the revelation of his past brings conflicts, forgiveness, and the chance for reconciliation.
