Sara García

No te engañes corazón (released in English as Don't Fool Yourself Dear) is the first full-feature film of Cantinflas after becoming a star of the carpa circuit (folk theater). It was also one of the earliest films of Sara García and Carlos Orellana and the first where they share the screen. Don Boni (Orellana) is diagnosed with a deadly disease and decides to spend his last days doing good deeds. He leaves his wife and decides to help people. He then gets drunk and wakes up with a winning lottery ticket and realizes that the doctor who diagnosed him has been sent to prison for fraud.

Three children forge a close friendship with the help of a gentle elderly woman, Doña Dominga. They survive poverty and social exclusion; however, fate has a cruel twist in store for little Toño.

Back from vacation, Lucy, a school's music teacher, misses a boy. People say he will not return because he recently lost his father. She is very affected by his favorite student, so she decides to go to see him, finding the house in utter ruin. But chance makes Lucy forced to take the child and immediately found in him the son that was kidnapped years ago in America when she was a famous artist.

Two boys and two girls hook up at the big festival in a neighboring town. Once they get back home they have to deal with their families' plans for them, which may not include their new sweethearts.

Cantinflas, the boyfriend of the servant of a rich industrial man, gets into the house in order to kill a mad dog. Suddenly this man appears so the servant tells him that Cantinflas is his wife's brother (Leonardo), who had been lost for years. The rich man then remembers that his father in law's testament could only be paid when all brothers get together, so treats Cantinflas, a real bum, as a king.

Inocencio Prieto y Calvo receives a letter telling him he is the heir to his uncle's fortune of two million pesos. Not being able to read he has no idea of who sent the letter or its content. So he goes to the drugstore because the pharmacist can read the letter to him. But while waiting to be helped he sees that a young girl can read. He figures he has to be able to discover the letter's content by himself and decides he will save the letter and go to school, and wait to read the letter on his own.

La soñadora ("The Dreamer") is a 1917 Mexican silent film. It features Sara García as an extra.

This is an early film from Director Gilberto Martinez Solares, who would go on to become better-known for his unique perspective on horror films of the 60's and 70's - like "Santanico Pademonium" "Face of the Screaming Wolf" and his own "House of Terror", (these features, in turn, would inspire future award-wining Directors such as Tarantino and Del Toro). As far as Resurreccion goes, it is a semi-historical Drama, based on Leo Tolstoy's novel also titled "Resurrection" . However, Solares' movie loosely uses the start of the 1910 to 1920 Mexican Revolution as its cornerstone, (instead of the Russian battle that Tolstoy relied on for his 1899 literary work ). It essentially documents one man's effort to find redemption for his past sins. It stars actors Emilio Tuero, Lupita Tovar, Sara Garcia and Jose Pulido, among others.

Dr. Pablo, something womanizer, going to marry with Mini and cheats África, singer and his lover, telling her to wait while she is on tour in Cuba. With her, he poses as a friend industrial, Ricardo and his intention is not to see her again. While Africa is out he marries Mini, which proves to be terribly jealous. Complications ensue when Africa returns to Mexico and start searching for the fake Richard. By chance a friend of Mini will be in a beauty salon and this ensures she can take to "Ricardo" because is "a friend of her husband". A typical sitcom with a blistering pace.

Fictional story about the Escuadron 201 de Caza (201st Mexican Fighter Squadron), which participated in military campaigns in the Phillipines during WWII. It focuses primarily on two brothers, one who has a promising future as a doctor, who volunteer for this unit after Mexico declares war on Germany after the sinking of Mexican merchants by U-boats. The story also follows another young man, the son of a Spanish immigrant baker. He volunteers to pay what he feels is an unpaid debt to their new adopted country.

Mundo de Juguete is a telenovela produced in Mexico by Televisa in 1974. It is a remake of telenovela Papá Corazón. This telenovela holds the record for having the second longest run ever for a Latin American telenovela, with a total of 605 episodes. Most telenovelas run for an average of six to eight months; the shortest ones run about four months, and the longest up to a year. Many "Mundo de Juguete" fans believe that either all or some of the tapes and film from the telenovela were lost when Televisa collapsed during the 1985 earthquake. Televisa has been secretive regarding which tapes were lost during that earthquake, so there is no way of confirming this. However, such claims can be disputed, considering that the Telenovela has been repeated on television several times after 1985. During the nineties, it was repeated on Mexico City Canal 9. For a period of time, it was also shown on Unicable or on Telenovelas Televisa remade the telenovela in 2000, and called it "Carita de Angel".
