Natalia Ushakova

A new head of the obstetric department, the young and talented Natalia Bakhmetyeva, is joining the experimental scientific and medical center. On the first day of work, she causes a storm of emotions among her new colleagues. Natasha admires them with her undeniable professionalism and outrages them with her tough character.

The series is set in 1961. Cameraman Viktor Khrustalyov is in a difficult situation; he is suspected of being involved in the death of his friend, talented screenwriter Kostya Parshin, who committed suicide during a drinking-bout. The authorities try to put Khrustalyov in prison by any means. Viktor needs to shoot the comedy "The Girl and the Brigadier" in order to get permission to make the film "Shards" after the wonderful scenario left from his deceased screenwriter friend. Young director Yegor Myachin wants to adаpt this screenplay. Khrustalyov arranges him as a trainee to the venerable director Krivitsky for a comedy. In the same film act Khrustalev's ex-wife Inga and his young sweetheart Maryana, with whom Yegor Myachin is also in love.

Six friends are just starting their adult life. They fall in love, dream, and make plans for the future. When a tragedy strikes troubling issues and secrets are revealed, and their parents wonder if they know their children at all.

Vanya doesn't know his father. His mother says he works in Moscow. With friend Fedya, Vanya meets Viktor, his mother's former classmate who lived in Germany, wondering if he's Vanya's dad as they prepare to search for him in Moscow.

This funny and tragic film explores the struggle to cope with the death of someone close to you. The main character, Tolya, who has just entered university, is confronted with the death of his mother from cancer and unexpectedly shoulders the responsibility of organizing the funeral: obtaining a death certificate, choosing a coffin and cemetery plot, calling relatives, and meeting his long-lost father. Irony becomes Tolya's only way to cope, so the characters and the world around them transform into grotesque versions of themselves: a nurse-bartender, a sinister cross seller, and an army of ninjas. But behind every humorous detail lies genuine pain.
