Nia Anisah is a British actress best known for her roles in British television series and international film productions. She began her career with several award-winning independent short films, including Chocolate Colored Sweetheart (2019), Perspective (2021), and Can't Let You Go (2022). She is represented by the renowned British talent agency “United Agents” in London. She plays Joy Sanderling in the mini-crime series Magpie Murders (2022). In The Doll Factory (2023), a historical thriller series, she plays Evie. She also made a guest appearance in the popular BBC crime series Death in Paradise. In the Netflix film My Oxford Year (2025), she plays Laura. In The Marvels (2023), she plays the supporting role of Aladnean. In the British drama-thriller Restless (2024), Nia Anisah took on the role of Mia. There is currently no public information available regarding Nia Anisah’s exact date and place of birth. Early in her career—as in the miniseries Magpie Murders (2022), for example—she appeared under the name “Nia Deacon” and was credited as such in the closing credits. She now uses the name Nia Anisah for her acting work.
