Executive Stress is a British sitcom that aired on ITV from 1986 to 1988. Produced by Thames Television, it first aired on 20 October 1986. After three series, the last episode aired on 27 December 1988. Written by George Layton, Executive Stress stars Penelope Keith as Caroline Fairchild, a middle-aged woman who decides to go back to work. Her husband, Donald, is played by Geoffrey Palmer in the first series. However, Palmer was unable to return for the second series, so Peter Bowles played Donald in the last two series. Keith and Bowles had previously appeared in together in To the Manor Born.

Kinvig is a sci-fi comedy television series made for British television in 1981. Ineffectual dreamer Des Kinvig (Tony Haygarth) runs a rundown little electrical repair shop in the small town of Bingleton where he lives with his mumsy, scatterbrained wife Netta (Patsy Rowlands) and oversized pet dog Cuddly. One day his shop is visited by the beautiful, sharp-tongued Miss Griffin (Prunella Gee) who seems at first just another dissatisfied customer. Constant Hot Water was a British sitcom, written by Colin Pearson. Six episodes were broadcast on ITV1 from 10 January 1986 to 14 February 1986 on ITV. Every episode was broadcast on Friday nights at 8:30pm, and lasted 25 minutes. It starred popular British actresses Pat Phoenix and Prunella Gee, who played rival landladies, Phyllis Nugent and Miranda Thorpe, in the seaside town of Bridlington. Busybody Nugent strongly objected to the arrival of glamorous widow Thorpe, who had opened up her house next door as a rival B&B. The series was unsuccessful and in 2003, it peaked at no.6 as the worst British sitcom in the Radio Times Guide to TV Comedy. The British Comedy Guide described the humour as "erratic" and added that the show "rarely rose above the mundane". Constant Hot Water was never released on video, and it remains unreleased on DVD.

Balogun's most political film is a confrontation with the African wars of liberation. Based on Carcase for Hounds, Meja Mwangi's novel about the Mau-Mau uprising, it is set in an unnamed country and thus offers the vision of a pan-African struggle for freedom and against colonial oppression. The central figures in the straightforwardly and powerfully told story are the guerrilla leader Haraka and his adversary, the English colonial official Kingsley. In the end, the film becomes a homage to the freedom fighters from all over Africa: the final images show Patrice Lumumba, Steve Biko, Nelson Mandela and Amílcar Cabral, among others.
