Brett Daniels

Brett Daniels is a JFK8 warehouse worker and organizer with the Amazon Labor Union who served as the union's organizing director during its early years. In February 2022, he was arrested alongside fellow organizer Jason Anthony and ALU president Christian "Chris" Smalls outside the Staten Island warehouse after Amazon called police on Smalls for delivering food to coworkers. In 2023, the NLRB ruled that Amazon's suspension of Daniels from JFK8 over his organizing activity had been unlawful. He later became a leading voice in the ALU Democratic Reform Caucus, the internal group that pushed for new union leadership elections.
