Two Finnish toy manufacturers Jim King and Krakström compete for toys. King's business is far too successful and he is trying to tax fraud with the help of his chamberlain. Both toy manufacturers hire gangster chief Niitti to handle their twilight jobs, but not everything goes according to plan.

The murder of the well-known Frankfurt high-class prostitute Rosemarie Nitribitt kept the Federal Republic in suspense at the time, but the crime could never be solved. Although almost twenty years have now passed, the unpleasant matter for those involved at the time comes back on the table, because Annemarie Meier-Wippertal, the daughter of the murdered, causes unrest as she wants to solve the murder of her mother.

TV studio organizer Mikko Syvärinen becomes the admired comedian K. Ovimikko through a series of mishaps. However, Mikko's popularity wanes when he switches from door comedy to window comedy. His show is taken off the air, his girlfriend leaves him, and he loses his apartment. Once again, Mikko sets out to rebuild his TV career by becoming a producer again.

A western set in the "Wild North". The Vornan brothers Joel, Tommi, and Kai are framed for the robbery of a gold-laden carriage and the murder of its drivers. Behind the accusations are Kristo, the saloon owner, and Markus, the bank manager, who wants to marry Karin, the daughter of Jäära, the richest man in the north.

The story follows Commander-in-Chief Mannerheim and Quartermaster General Airo at the Finnish Defense Forces headquarters in Mikkeli during the decisive moments of the Continuation War in the summer of 1944. With a major offensive on the Karelian Isthmus imminent, Airo gives the order to attack without consulting the commander-in-chief.

The show was meant to compete with those on West German television. To this end it was fairly successful even attracting a following in parts of West Germany which could receive Eastern TV. Its production values were high. Apart from song and dance numbers and appearances from East German celebrities, almost every broadcast featured well-known stars from the west, often after their popularity had peaked in their home countries.
