Our story begins with Junior Detective LIN, who has just been put in charge of a case that appears to be a suicide. Most curiously, the crime scene has many features in common with a scene from a Sherlock Holmes novel. Detective Lin quickly discovers that it is a murder case. Meanwhile, a group of young sleuths supports their detective club president GAO’s dream to win a writing contest. The three club members, psychologist ZHONG, social worker WEN, and pharmacist ZHANG, each harbor a hidden secret. GAO could never have expected that he would become implicated as the killer in an actual murder case! As Detective LIN delves deeper into his case, a series of seemingly unrelated events all end up pointing towards the club members.

JIANG has just begun his career as an after-school tutor. He has a great sense of humor in teaching but suffers from intimacy issues due to the influence of his parents who endure lifelong mental illnesses. Failing to obtain commitment, JIANG’s girlfriend Lan decides to run away from JIANG and works as an elementary school teacher in a remote village. In order to reconnect with Lan, JIANG applies for an internship at a school there as well. Eventually, JIANG not only rekindles the spark with Lan, his passion for education is also reignited. However, he still has his own problems that need to be overcome: Will JIANG suffer from mental illness just like his parents? Does he still have the ability to love?

An absurd comedy about the daily life of a three-generational Hakka household in Taipei. The main characters are Huichiao, her grandmother Chunmei, Chunmei’s son Fusang, and daughter-in-law Lichun. The story begins on a stormy night when Huichiao quietly approaches and murders Chunmei, coldly saying, "Granny, just die!" As the story develops, we learn that their conflicts stem from not only daily trivialities but also past memories and complex family relationships. Through multiple perspectives and intertwined timelines, the film delves into this quirky family, uncovering each member’s secrets and sorrows, leading to a dramatic escape where the truth finally emerges.
