Yaralı Kuşlar (الطيور الجريحة / Wounded Birds) is a 2019 Turkish drama following Meryem and her adopted younger brother Ömer — two orphaned siblings whose lives are shattered when their violent, manipulative father returns from prison, using Ömer as a tool for crime. Fleeing to Istanbul to escape the destruction he leaves behind, Meryem crosses paths with Levent — a man broken by his own tragic loss. Two wounded souls, one powerful love story, and a fight to survive against all odds.

Suskunlar, is a Turkish television drama series based on Lorenzo Carcaterra's 1995 novel of Sleepers.

After being fired from her job and dumped by her boyfriend, a cosmetics saleswoman becomes the nanny to the three children of a rich widow man. As time passes, the two fall for each other.

The film is set in a world where traditional gender roles between women and men are reversed. Bitirim Leyla and Sarı Leman are the tough, street-smart women of their neighborhood. While Leman works in a factory, Leyla makes a living through small-time scams on the streets.
