It revolves around two young people who fall in love dancing champeta in the streets of the Colombian Caribbean and discover that, through dance, they awaken supernatural powers to save the Earth from a dangerous threat of destruction.

Colombia receives the indemnity for Panama and accepts foreign credit to undertake development works, which increases the number of workers, although with poor wages and terrible working conditions. María Cano, a political activist, began her fight for the conditions of salaried workers and for the fundamental rights of the population.

Two naive documentary filmmakers decide to venture out and accompany the Cabello family, to discover, on a chaotic trip, why there is no one in the family who would miss the plan next to the river.
