Hasan Aslangiray

Making his living from gardening and farming in the land he inherited from his father, Hasan tries to get rid of the power pole that is going to be installed in the midst of his land. His impending voyage to Mecca for pilgrimage leads to soul searching into his past.

Bayram, who lives with his mother, father, and grandmother, dreams of meeting Sinem, whom he fell head over heels in love with at his friend's wedding. Sinem, a young and successful businesswoman, is the advertising and marketing director at Koma Kola, one of the country's largest cola companies. Bayram believes that the only way to reach Sinem is to create his own cola brand. His father, Cemal, wants Bayram to take over the family-owned sherbet shop. Bayram refuses his father's request and, with the help of his friends Hamdullah, Talha, and Mehmet Bakkal, whom he considers his older brother, sets out to win the heart of the girl he loves.

Dünya Bu (The World as It Is, 2023) is a Turkish anthology comedy series on Gain, featuring 32 different self-contained stories set in a single shared world. Each episode tells a different human story with a comedic lens. Comedy is the clear dominant, drama is medium, romance and suspense are both low given the short-form anthology format with no overarching plot.
