The story of four Moroccan women who reunite after a period of estrangement. Their happy facades mask a lot of misery and pain, caused by divorce and betrayals as one of them discovers that the man she loves is cheating on her with one of her closest friends.

In southern Morocco in 1954, an old man and a young man cooperate to restore water to a wasteland.

Edith, a 45-year-old textile factory worker, sees her life turned upside down by the company’s downsizing measures. As co-directed by brothers Swad and Imad Noury (and produced by their mother, Pilar Cazorla), The Moroccan picture Heaven's Doors (2005) employs an episodic narrative, with three related substories presented sequentially. The Nourys shoot the episodes in distinct cinematographic styles (and with distinct overtones) suited to each tale, recalling Humberto Solas's masterpiece Lucia (1969).

Amina is on a trip to the North where her husband is imprisoned for a drug case. When her car breaks down, she meets Lalla Rahma, an old lady who must also go to the North to make sure that her son did not die while illegally crossing the sea to Europe.

Mouna finds her job at risk, so she hires Nabil an actor to pretend to be her husband for a business dinner to remain inside the company as a marketing expert, but the manager's desire to deepen the relationship with Mouna and Nabil only complicated the problem, things become more complicated when the manager decides to move into the neighborhood of Mouna.

After years of believing, I find mercy in a toxic marriage. Between the two of them in revenge she writes her destiny, summoning the mercy of God that heals her and each other.
