When a German businessman causes a car accident with deadly consequences, the papers start digging into his past to find scandals. What they find causes him to reevaluate his own past during WW2 when he was in Greece.

After serving his prison sentence, Dickie Gray wants to leave his life as a petty criminal behind for good. However, he didn’t count on his old partner Marty: Marty has spotted a jeweler in London who looks exactly like Dickie and immediately starts planning the big heist. Dickie is initially reluctant, but eventually slips into the role of the jeweler after Marty kidnaps him.

An old librarian, Professor Columbus, wants to go to the sea once in his lifetime. So he buys a big ship and takes a boat trip across the North Sea to London, accompanied by a bunch of stoned hippies, and chased by the police.

Keller's assistants were Walter Grabert, Robert Heines, and Harry Klein who, in 1974, was replaced by his younger brother Erwin Klein.

Many people in the West protested against the crushing of the attempt to create "socialism with a human face." However, the world public paid little attention to the fact that at the same time, a handful of Russians were demonstrating in Moscow against the actions of their own government.
