Nikola, a teacher from Belgrade, accepts a job in the remote mountain village of Gornik, unaware that deep-buried secrets await him there. At the same time, Lucija, an ambitious PhD in anthropology, arrives in the village to investigate a community that claims to be descendants of ancient Celts. "Preziveti Beograd" tells a story about young people and their desires, about newcomers and locals in Belgrade, their hopes and dreams, ups and downs.

Ena and Sale – both of them destructive and hungry for life – meet. As they are trying to interpret their feelings, the two are pressured by the burdens of their past and haunted by their fears. Through acts of aggression on the outskirts of a dirty city, they test the limits of their love.

The story is set on the day of bombing of RTS (Serbian national TV) in 1999, which follows five characters whose paths intertwine on the fateful night.
