The film is about Kemal and his girlfriend Meral breaking up because of a crime Kemal committed. Kemal comes to Istanbul to shop for his sister Mine's wedding. There, he meets Meral. Kemal and Meral fall in love at first sight. Everything is going well when Kemal receives a telegram from his mother. He learns that his sister has been raped and has committed suicide. He flees to Trabzon to take revenge on those responsible for his sister's suicide. His goal is to leave the country from there. During this time, Kemal's path will cross with Meral's once again.

A young Turkish pilot Timur fall into love with Yildiz. While he going to duty to Cyprus he gives a letter his mom to transmit Yildiz. But his mom lies to Timur.

However, at that moment, Ahmet suffers a heart attack and dies. According to Ahmet's will, whoever Ahmet dies with will inherit all his property. Therefore, Ahmet's inheritance goes to Mahmut. However, Ahmet's nephew, who wants to get his hands on Ahmet's property, will try to take the inheritance from Mahmut.

This movie is not a colorfull. About 5 years later, this movie was shot again wtih same actors and actresses (except for Selda Alkor).

Asmalı Konak was a Turkish TV series directed by Çağan Irmak and written by Mahinur Ergun and Meral Okay. It was shown on ATV for a total of 54 episodes. The finale of the series was released as a feature film titled Asmalı Konak: Hayat.
