On New Year's Eve, Nastya is kicked out of her dormitory. Desperate, she wades through the snow wherever she can see and almost gets hit by a car. The driver, Sergey, is also upset, because on the holiday he had a fight with his fiancée. A new friend offers to give the girl a ride, and during the trip they get into a car accident....

Their first night is a chain of random coincidences. However, some time later, she shows up at his office under a different name and a suspiciously clean biography. And this seems to be no coincidence.

Nadya, a simple girl from a small town, accompanies her fiancé Alexei to his military service under contract. The heroine tries in vain to dissuade her beloved from dangerous work. However, the stubborn guy does not want to live in poverty and, contrary to persuasion, leaves. But the woman’s heart ached for a reason. Soon Nadya receives a terrible letter: her fiancé has gone missing...
