The Norwegian pop group's first worldwide hit 'Take On Me' was backed by an award-winning, semi-animated video, and the band earned a reputation for producing innovative promos, many of which were presided over by Steve Barron, the director of 'Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles'.

In 2010 a-ha launched their final world tour in South America. The "Ending on a High Note" tour was a live celebration of a-ha's 25 year career, which included stops in 63 cities in 21 countries, and culminated in 4 concerts in their home town of Oslo last December. a-ha, the multi-platinum selling legendary Norwegian trio, will release a 15 track Acoustic Hits MTV Unplugged album on October 6. This is the first time in the band’s 30 year history that they have recorded an acoustic album. The set list includes a carefully picked selection of trademark hits, tracks not often performed live and two brand new songs, This Is Our Home and A Break In The Clouds. Guests on the album include Alison Moyet, Ian McCulloch, and Lissie. Their Unplugged concert was filmed in Norway, each artist in the series chose a location that held a special meaning to them. a-ha’s MTV Unplugged album will enhance the bands credibility, they are one of a select few artists that have been chosen to appear in the series alongside acts such as Shawn Mendes.

2013 live release from the iconic German rockers. On September 11 and 12, 2013, the Scorpions played two fantastic acoustic sets in the Lycabettus theatre of Athens. The open-air theatre, which was designed by the Greek architect Takis Zenetos in 1965 is situated on Mount Lycabettus, at 300m height, and offers an impressive view of the Greek metropolis.

A young woman escapes the war in Syria and ends up in the forest in Sweden. Listening to music is a way for her to survive and bring her back, in dreams and memories, to her homeland.

Kamilla and the Thief - Part 2 continues where the first Kamilla movie ends. Sebastian going to jail, but Kamilla did not fail his friend, even if she refused to have contact with him and is bullied because she is "a friend of a thief." Kamilla is the only one who believes in Sebastian when he says that he will not steal. Can Sebastian to keep that promise? Kamilla is faithful - but is it enough?

On their record-breaking tour of South America, a-ha played to over three million fans. The twenty-five shows took them through Chile, Argentina and Brazil, and in Rio they broke the attendance record at Maracana Stadium with an audience of 195,000. 'Live in South America' is a document of that tour, and captures the energy and excitement of the sold-out shows with the great performances included here.

The Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition, organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and featuring participants representing primarily European countries. Each participating country submits an original song to be performed on live television and radio, transmitted to national broadcasters via the EBU's Eurovision and Euroradio networks, with competing countries then casting votes for the other countries' songs to determine the winner.

Germany's Next Topmodel is a German reality television show, based on a concept that was introduced by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum. She also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show.

V Graham Norton was an entertainment programme shown on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom starring Graham Norton, broadcast every weeknight as a successor to the weekly So Graham Norton. It aired from 6 May 2002 to 26 December 2003. It featured celebrities who chatted with Graham and became involved in studio games which were usually laden with sexual innuendo. The studio games were later featured on the clip show Nortonland in 2007 on digital channel Challenge. The show featured a 'webcam', a roving television camera which was randomly situated in a different place in the UK each week and which followed Graham's instructions and allowed him to interact with the public live. The feature was made technically possible using digital microwave link technology provided by Rear Window Television with the 'spontaneous' webcam feature always produced as a full quality Outside Broadcast, before being made to look like a traditional webcam at the studios.

Skavlan is a Norwegian-Swedish television talk show hosted by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan. It premiered in Sweden on Sveriges Television in January 2009, and the first guests to appear on the show were former Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson and his wife Anitra Steen. On 8 May 2009, it was announced that Skavlan had been renewed for a second season. It was also announced that the show would no longer only be produced by SVT in Sweden; Skavlan would now be partly produced in Norway by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The first twelve episodes of Skavlan's second season were produced by SVT in Sweden, and the remaining twelve by NRK in Norway. Skavlan speaks Norwegian and his dialog is therefore subtitled in Swedish in Sweden, even though the two languages are quite similar and mutually intelligible. If the persons being interviewed by Skavlan are Swedish, he often tells them to let him know if they do not understand what he is saying. Swedish novelist Jan Guillou has criticized SVT for subtitling the program, stating "there is no need for that. If the host had been Danish, subtitling would have been necessary, but with a Norwegian host it does not make any sense."

TV total is a German late-night television comedy talk show. The set of TV total includes a floating interview stage that can be moved from one studio corner to the other. The show featured buttons with sounds and clips before Craig Ferguson's The Late Late Show.

«Norsk Rocks Historie» is a Norwegian documentary series about the history of rock'n'roll music in Norway.

«Ta sjansen» was a popular Norwegian TV show broadcast on NRK from 1983 to 2002. It was a light-hearted, annual summer event filmed outdoors at the Homenkollen ski jump in Oslo. The show featured contestants competing in two main types of humorous and often chaotic challenges: Homemade boats racing down a steep ramp into the water, and creative bicycles racing on floating docks. Participants often wore silly costumes and built wildly imaginative contraptions, making the spectacle part game show, part variety show, and part slapstick comedy. «Ta sjansen» was known for its fun, festive atmosphere, and it became a beloved summer tradition in Norway. Though not officially competitive, winners were awarded prizes, and the emphasis was always on entertainment rather than serious sportsmanship.
