When "Take On Me" reached nr 1 on Billboard in the US in 1985, the dream came true. Or did it? The band was not prepared for what the success could bring, including tension between the three band members.

In 2010 a-ha launched their final world tour in South America. The "Ending on a High Note" tour was a live celebration of a-ha's 25 year career, which included stops in 63 cities in 21 countries, and culminated in 4 concerts in their home town of Oslo last December. The Norwegian pop group's first worldwide hit 'Take On Me' was backed by an award-winning, semi-animated video, and the band earned a reputation for producing innovative promos, many of which were presided over by Steve Barron, the director of 'Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles'.

a-ha, the multi-platinum selling legendary Norwegian trio, will release a 15 track Acoustic Hits MTV Unplugged album on October 6. This is the first time in the band’s 30 year history that they have recorded an acoustic album. The set list includes a carefully picked selection of trademark hits, tracks not often performed live and two brand new songs, This Is Our Home and A Break In The Clouds. Guests on the album include Alison Moyet, Ian McCulloch, and Lissie. Their Unplugged concert was filmed in Norway, each artist in the series chose a location that held a special meaning to them. a-ha’s MTV Unplugged album will enhance the bands credibility, they are one of a select few artists that have been chosen to appear in the series alongside acts such as Shawn Mendes.

a-ha’s new single “I’m In” is released on 8 July 2022. It is the first taster for their forthcoming album True North, issued on 21 October 2022.

On their record-breaking tour of South America, a-ha played to over three million fans. The twenty-five shows took them through Chile, Argentina and Brazil, and in Rio they broke the attendance record at Maracana Stadium with an audience of 195,000. 'Live in South America' is a document of that tour, and captures the energy and excitement of the sold-out shows with the great performances included here.

Germany's Next Topmodel is a German reality television show, based on a concept that was introduced by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum. She also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show.

«Norsk Rocks Historie» is a Norwegian documentary series about the history of rock'n'roll music in Norway.

«Ta sjansen» was a popular Norwegian TV show broadcast on NRK from 1983 to 2002. It was a light-hearted, annual summer event filmed outdoors at the Homenkollen ski jump in Oslo. The show featured contestants competing in two main types of humorous and often chaotic challenges: Homemade boats racing down a steep ramp into the water, and creative bicycles racing on floating docks. Participants often wore silly costumes and built wildly imaginative contraptions, making the spectacle part game show, part variety show, and part slapstick comedy. «Ta sjansen» was known for its fun, festive atmosphere, and it became a beloved summer tradition in Norway. Though not officially competitive, winners were awarded prizes, and the emphasis was always on entertainment rather than serious sportsmanship.
