During summer Pauw & Witteman are replaced by Knevel & Van de Brink, a talk show hosted by Andries Knevel and Thijs van den Brink, produced by the dutch evangelical broadcasting company, the EO.

Each episode follows a rigid pattern: mundane small talk, bad jokes, office supplies obsession (like "stiften"), and lunch breaks involving specific sandwiches. Multilul is a satirical take on the advertising and media world by the Dutch absurdist comedy show Jiskefet. It aired in late 1998 on the VPRO network. It follows the staff of a pretentious marketing agency (Creative Advertising, Media and Communication Consultant Agency) as they brainstorm absurd campaigns. The series mocks corporate jargon, pseudo-creative processes, and industry narcissism.

De Lullo's is a satirical series that parodies Dutch student fraternity culture. It follows three wealthy, arrogant, and lazy students living in a fraternity house. De Dierenwinkel (The Pet Shop) is a recurring sketch from the Dutch absurdist comedy show Jiskefet that aired between 1992 and 1995. It primarily features a pompous, eccentric shop owner (played by Herman Koch) and a polite, equally strange customer (played by Michiel Romeyn). Common plot points involve the customer seeking a specific or rare creature, only to be sold a completely different (and likely non-existent) animal described with bizarre biological "facts."

Pupil Abel is the victim of Laura's nasty prank, yet gets accidentally blamed and overreacts. His ma withdraws him from school and gets him a job as lift-boy. But its' a special lift: when he pushes the forbidden green button, it takes him, Laura, Jozias Tump and Maria Klaterhoen to Manhattan. There he's mistaken by a rich woman who looks like his mother for her long missing son Johnny. When a police helicopter comes to tow the lift cabin, the Dutchmen get back in. It takes them to a Latin American country, Perugona. The new revolutionary leader realizes presidents live about one year, so he gives the job to Mr. Tump, who saved his life. The news coverage attracts Abel's and Johnny's family, in time for an even weirder finale.
