The story revolves around a young ambitious girl . Due to her father's early death, her family is not so well-off and she dreams of being rich and prosperous like her friend.

It is a story of two families as they recover from tragedies that have torn them apart. Two best friends realize that they are in fact brothers living each other's lives. On the other hand, cultural differences leave two sisters living on opposite sides of the world with no knowledge of each other's existence.

The drama revolves around two sisters, Sheedan and Sajida. Sheedan is married to Majid. While, Sajida is a widowed wife of Parvez, friend of Imtiaz. Sheedan, a eldest sister, has a daughter, Meeran and a son. Sajida has a daughter, Zebo. Imtiaz proposes Sajida but she ignores. She asks from Sheedan and many others but all say positive. She marries him.

A story about a woman who was wrongfully accused of adultery and her daughter from the second marriage, who later finds the truth about her mother's past as she herself gets married into the same family.

Biography of Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the founder of modern Pakistan is told through flashbacks as his soul tries to find eternal rest. The flashbacks start in 1947 as Jinnah pleads for a separate nation for the Muslim minority, infuriating Lord Mountbatten. Mountbatten then tries to enlist Gandhi & Nehru to persuade Jinnah to stop his efforts. Gandhi sides with Jinnah, which upsets Nehru. However, Jinnah turns down the offer to become prime minister and the film takes another slide back to 1916, which reveals all of the political implications that have occurred.
