Vasilisa Perelygina

1945, Leningrad. World War II has devastated the city, demolishing its buildings and leaving its citizens in tatters, physically and mentally. Two young women, Iya and Masha, search for meaning and hope in the struggle to rebuild their lives amongst the ruins.

Father Alexey (a member of the Auctioneer group Oleg Garkusha), an elderly, eccentric and kind priest, spends his days alone, except for visiting his sick brother and his daughter. One day he receives an assignment to visit a deaf girl Violetta (Vasilisa Perelygina) in prison, falsely accused of setting fire to a church. When Father Alexei recognizes her as an orphan, whom he baptized as Barbara in infancy, a new meaning appears in his life.

Innokenty Melnikov, or simply Kesha, is a successful architect and a charismatic man, he has already had two marriages behind his back. Despite divorces from Lena and Julia, he remains the main man in their lives even with the presence of a third wife, Varya. Kesha manages not only to be a source of financial well-being for each of them and the center of family gatherings, but also to have a sexual relationship with three women at once. But the symbiosis convenient for everyone begins to collapse after Kesha gets a new lover, Alla, and decides to divorce Varya. Offended by the betrayal, Lena, Varya and Julia either jokingly or seriously decide to get rid of Kesha.
