Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is an annual music competition organised by Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio, which determines the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. The festival has produced three Eurovision winners and thirteen top-five placings.

Pyrus is a young elf who lives in The Danish National Archives, where Chief Archivist Birger Bertramsen work alongside his new assistant Josefine Brahe. The young elf lives together with the old Archivist elf Gyldengrød and the elf girl Kandis, who just moved in and the. Pyrus complains that he cannot get Christmas-presents, as Santa Claus doesn't give presents to elf's. Pyrus tries to conjure him with the help of a magical book to talk to him, but unfortunately Santa Claus is already in the National Archives when he does, which results in Clause losing his memories. Now the elf's must help Clause regain his memories by visiting historical events using the books in the archive. They meeting Saint Nicholas (the predecessor of Santa Claus), La Befana (who comes bearing gifts in Italy) and the American Santa Claus.

One Big Family is a Danish television series in 12 episodes, first broadcast in 1982-1983. The series was directed by Bent Mejding, while the script was written in turns by Lise Nørgaard, Paul Hammerich and Jane Aamund. The series is produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio.

Emma (Line Kruse) is an eleven year-old only child from a wealthy Danish family. Emma's parents seem more interested in their own interests than in her. One evening when Emma overhears her mother talking about how tragic it must be to have your child kidnapped, Emma decides to stage her own kidnapping. She soon meets Malthe, a kind-hearted, child-like, naïve sewer cleaner who literally stumbles on to her. She convinces Malthe that she is a Russian princess whose family is being chased by Bolsheviks, so Malthe lets Emma stay with him in his very modest abode. After being "kidnapped" for a few days, Emma decides to return home. But, just as she is about to return, she overhears a couple of servants talking about how her parents don't seem to be very upset over her dilemma....

PUK SCHARBAU plays Lise Nørgaard in the epic film adaptation of her fascinating life story. In a chronicle of both love and war, masterfully directed by Peter Schroeder, we follow the woman who would later give us 'Matador', from her early childhood to her controversial career as a journalist with a Denmark of yesterday, and a Europe in flames as convincing backdrop.

A youth film set in the summer of 1945, when the war in Europe has finally ended. For 17-year-old Herbert and his schoolmate Allan, their regular hangout is the Munich Inn, where Leo Mathisen's orchestra plays. The orchestra's drummer, Spjæt, is Herbert's idol, while Allan is more interested in the cloakroom attendant Anita than in the music. Herbert lives alone with his mother, who is a pianist. He has a job as a delivery boy at a grocery store, but supplements his income by trading on the black market. The black market goods, which can be sold at the München Kroen, are obtained in exchange for things Herbert has stolen from his mother or the grocer. Eventually, he even sells his mother's grand piano. A black American officer, whom he has befriended, intervenes when the business starts to go too far.

For Janus his friend Tore is his big ideal: pretty, intelligent and self-confident. Janus is grateful for his friendship even though he is considered the court jester. When Tore falls in love with the beautiful and sweet girl Helle, Janus accepts his role as their highly loved third party. Helle's fashionable mother, however, is a bit too interested in Tore. By chance, Pyrus has found Gyldengrød's old laboratory, which has been locked up for many years. When the National Archivist's son-in-law Krusø catches a severe winter cold, Pyrus is eager to help and tries to cure Krusø with an elixir from Gyldengrød's laboratory. The effect is disastrous. Krusø shrinks to the size of an elf and tumbles around confused in the archive. Krusø comes into possession of the elves' magic book, which enables him to conjure himself into various books. And misfortune befalls the country's prime minister as Krusø tours the telephone directories, the overview of traffic planning in Copenhagen, and worst of all, the finance bill itself. Pyrus is unhappy. For once, he tried to do the right thing, and now everyone is even more angry with him than before. How can he make amends? He must accomplish something truly great.

Per is a traveling man who makes a living setting up new campsites—financed by a rather clueless telephone company and a gawking power plant. Søren has been in prison for eight years for bank robbery—but now he is free and ready to retrieve the buried money. To his great despair, he sees the campsite right where the loot is buried.
