Star Academy is a French reality television show produced by the Dutch company Endemol. It consists of a contest of young singers. It spawned an equally successful show in Quebec called Star Académie. It is broadcast on TF1. Each guest’s identity is kept secret as they all perform in outlandish costumes. As the season advances, our judges and viewers will be given clues to try to unmask the celebrities hiding underneath the costumes, so they can ultimately identify the best singer of them all.

Loosely based on Bram Stoker’s novel, the musical traces the journey of a warrior-prince from the Middle Ages to the mid-21st century. Out of love for a woman suspected of harbouring what is said to be the ‘scourge of the devil’, the prince accepts eternal damnation. However, the murder of his beloved plunges him into despair. Condemned to wander for eternity, he searches tirelessly for the soul of the woman for whom he sacrificed everything… and without whom he can find no rest.
