Artem Gubin

In the town of Podolsk, The Bears hockey club hires a new coach, Sergei Makeyev, a former National Hockey League player, who sets out to get the club to the Junior Hockey League and make The Bears a successful team.

Artem is 35 years old. He’s a psychologist, he uses this provocative methodology successfully until one of his clients commits suicide. The one who Artem tried to heal from a suicidal mood by taking him to the roof and telling him that suicide was the right course of action. Artem is condemned to 8 years of colony, the psycholo- gist’s license is taken away, his wife Dasha (32) leaves him, his friends turn their backs on him. With the help of his best friend, Artem gets out of jail. All he is looking for is justice. He believes in his method and wants to prove that it’s actually working and the blame of the patient’s death is not on him. Each episode is a sep- arate case, Artem is brilliantly solving other people seemingly im- possible problems. But will he be able to save himself?

The year is 1987. After the birth of his daughter, Alexander Shishinin, a former employee of the Saratov Regional Agricultural Academy, decides to drastically change his life and do what he always dreamed of — producing a musical group. He meets the talented composer Vitaly Okorokov. Together, they literally find the first vocalists on the street: Tatiana Ivanova, Alena Apina and assemble the first female group in the USSR.

The story of the Podolsk cadets’ heroic stand outside Moscow in October 1941. Cadets were sent to the Ilyinsky line, fighting alongside units from the Soviet 43rd Army to hold back the German advance until reinforcements arrived. Hopelessly outnumbered, young men laid down their lives in a battle lasting almost two weeks to obstruct the far superior German forces advancing towards Moscow. Around 3,500 cadets and their commanding officers were sent to hold up the last line of defense outside Moscow. Most of them remained there for eternity.

The film is about a generation of brave and beautiful people who did not see the destruction of the revolution and the chaos of the civil war, who dreamed of building a new life in which there would be no place for death, but only incredible love that opens the way for them to great achievements and discoveries. About exploits and glory, betrayal and loyalty of those who were heroes in heaven and on earth. About the time of immense trials that fell on their short but bright lives. About a woman who was the dream and true love of the Soviet Union.
