In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, New China was faced with "internal and external troubles". Since the outbreak of the Korean Civil War, the U.S. military has repeatedly provoked the border between China and North Korea, and civilians have been brutally bombed. In order to maintain the hard-won peace and long-term stability for generations, in October 1950, the Chinese People's Volunteers entered North Korea, and the "Resist US Aid Korea" war kicked off.

A chance encounter brings together Chen Mingsheng, a mysterious taxi driver, and Yang Zhao, a reserved artifact restorer. As their connection deepens in a mix of intrigue and vulnerability, Chen Mingsheng begins to let down his guard. But his hidden identity as an undercover narcotics officer is exposed during a trip, putting their relationship to the test. Can their intense bond survive the trials of fate?

This movie tells a story of young people from 'Ant tribe' in Beijing. By telling the story of these young people, Today and Tomorrow shows the psychological changes of college graduates. It reflects their confusion about future and love. The movie chooses 'Ant tribe' to show a unique aspect of the Chinese society. It encourages all the young people facing problems to learn from the 'Ant tribe' spirit and strive for a bright future.

In the eyes of outsiders, Su Yu Ning almost has a perfect life: a thriving career, a gentle husband and a well-behaved daughter. Unexpectedly, this wonderful life fell apart overnight. First her husband cheated, and then her daughter was injured and unconscious. Soon, Su Yu Ning discovers, that's she's was already part of and in the midst of a calculated conspiracy. And what was entrenched, in the center of the conspiracy was the person she never expected. In order to protect her daughter, Su Yu Ning had to stand up and declare war on "her".
