In the aftermath of the 1967 defeat, four young Lebanese try to figure out their places in a society whose rules seem to have changed. It proved to be an extraordinary anticipation of the civil war that would engulf the country while the film was being edited.

Set against the backdrop of the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, the film explores themes of land, honor, and survival through the story of a family caught between fleeing their homeland or submitting to life under occupation.

After the assassination of the Palestinian artist Naji Al-Ali in London in 1987, the film flashes back to the stops that he went through in his life, starting from his displacement with his family to Lebanon, to his work in Kuwait, to his return to Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war.

Fed up with his mysterious and unpredictable wife, Hadi’s business trip takes an unexpected turn when he meets a spontaneous and captivating woman who reignites his sense of freedom. As their connection deepens, secrets begin to unravel, exposing manipulation, obsession, and hidden motives. Torn between desire and loyalty, Hadi becomes entangled in a dangerous emotional web where love, control, and revenge collide with life-altering consequences.
