James Bond must investigate a mysterious murder case of a British agent in New Orleans. Soon he finds himself up against a gangster boss named Mr. Big.

The first manned spacecraft, fired from an English launchpad, is lost from radar before roaring back to Earth and crashing in a farmer's field. The Expert is a British television series produced by the BBC between 1968 and 1976. The series starred Marius Goring as Dr. John Hardy, a pathologist working for the Home Office and was essentially a police procedural drama, with Hardy bringing his forensic knowledge to solve various cases. The Expert was created and produced by Gerard Glaister. The series was also one of the first BBC dramas to be made in colour, and throughout its four series had numerous high quality guest appearances by actors such as John Carson, Peter Copley, Rachel Kempson, Peter Vaughan, Clive Swift, Geoffrey Palmer, Peter Barkworth, Jean Marsh, Ray Brooks, George Sewell, Anthony Valentine, Bernard Lee, Lee Montague, Geoffrey Bayldon, Mike Pratt, Edward Fox, André Morell, Brian Blessed, Nigel Stock, Philip Madoc and Warren Clarke.

Mark Fraser (Malcolm Stoddard), an ex-intelligence agent, was falsely accused of murdering a well-known scientist. Three agents, hired by an unknown organization, go after Mark to prevent him from revealing the organization's most hideous secrets. Mark struggles to fight his way out against these skilled intelligence agents to save his life and clear his name.

While attending Oxford University, Mark Fraser is recruited as an agent by Department Six of British Intelligence. In time he becomes one of their top "eliminators." After several years, he resigns in disgust, marries his girlfriend, Jill Marshall, and retires to the Scottish Highlands. While shopping one afternoon, Jill is kidnapped by five German terrorists and brought to Spain. When Mark receives a telephone call from the terrorists, instructing him to assassinate a right-wing German publisher, he is forced to employ his old skills as a hit man to ensure Jill's safety. .
