It can be a badge of honor to be “single.” “I Live Alone” is a documentary-style South Korean reality series that follows the members of a self-formed club called Rainbow, which is comprised of celebrities who are single and live alone.

Jung Mo-A (Kim Min-Seo) marries Park Do-Hoon (Lee In). They both grew up at the same orphanage. Park Do-Hoon learns that he is the son from a wealthy family. He dumps Jung Mo-A and marries Cha Young-Hwa (Lee Na-Kyung). Her father is a powerful politician.

This drama is loosely based on one of Korea's oldest folk songs. Suh Dong was the illegitimate son of the Baekje king and with the help of Princess Sun Hwa, the daughter of the king of the Silla, he went on to become the king of Baekje against all odds.

Jang Mi-ran has been widowed for the last 5 years after her husband died in an accident. She has four kids and is busy all day running a household. Fortunately, her husband's company, Saewang Constructions offered her a part-time job out of special consideration to her plight, so she was able to support her family.

The story involves four friends who become gangsters. As the film progresses they gain power and eventually find their way to Seoul. Being well-known as tough guys, Audie, Haetae, Lecaf and Gak Granger are high school classmates who took a pledge of brotherhood. Lecaf who is good at studying goes to Seoul right after the high school graduation, while his "brothers" gradually build up their power in the gang and get a chance to go to Seoul.

Recently discharged Chan-Woo receives a letter of will from ex-acquaintance and leaves for her hometown carrying her ashes with him. As he starts to reminiscent about the girl and prepares for her religious service, he meets mysterious innkeeper Jin-Kyung. He senses genuine love from her, discovering matured self in the process.
