In a small, conservative Scottish village, an oilman is paralyzed in an accident. His wife, who prayed for his return, feels guilty; even more, when he urges her to have sex with another.

Around the year 1000 AD warlike people, the so-called "tjuder", roam in northern Scandinavia. As they brutally kill a family in a remote area, including the parents and their little daughter, the family's teenage son, Aigin, observes the slaughter. He manages to flee from these killers and reaches a camp with other Sámi whose inhabitants are worried if he has been able to hide his track. Afraid of the murderous people, they decide to flee to the coast. The boy stays alone to avenge his family's murder. Unfortunately, they get him before he can do anything and force him to lead them to the other Sámi. He guides them but has a plan to destroy the barbarous people before reaching the camp.

The Isogaisa festival runs for a week starting with lectures, workshops and nature walks from Monday until Thursday and then has its main events during the weekend. Another festival in this area of Norway is Riddu Riddu that is similar in the way that it has a focus on Sami culture and connection to other indigenous people but is without the focus on shamanism, traditional beliefs and practices. The festival 2014 included joiking courses, name giving ceremonies, shaman performances, chocolate ceremony, concerts, folklore, dance parties, nightlife, archery training and much more.

The first two heats consists of all-men and all-women driving against each other. In the third heat, "Djævleheatet", the couples themselves choose who is to drive. This heat includes obstacles, which change from episode to episode. In the third heat the drivers fights for double points.

Christmas on the Moontop is a Norwegian christmas series. It was produced and sent on NRK in 2002 with replays in 2005, 2010 and 2014. Idea and screenplay by Gudny Ingebjørg Hagen.
