December of 1941, Northwestern Front. A German tank column is moving towards Moscow. During a mission to stop the enemy advance, Nikolai Komlev's IL-2 is shot down. Komlev manages to crash-land his plane in a remote forest clearing. He's alive, but far from friendly territory. Ahead of him is a relentless trial of severe physical and mental endurance. After battling hunger and extreme cold, evading packs of wolves and detachments of Nazi soldiers, the wounded Komlev finally makes it back to safety. But there he faces another challenge, the most life-changing of them all.

A film about a young soldier of the Ukrainian army, Andrei Sokolov, who is sent to the combat zone as a driver. Fleeing from the shelling, he finds himself in the basement of a dwelling house, where he meets different people, each of whom dreams of ending the Russian invasion.

Three friends, who were fans of Ivanushki International in their youth, meet and decide that they have never done a single crazy thing in their entire lives. Moscow 1950s, June. City residents, having loaded all their scrub from mattresses to pots, into commuter trains, go to dachas and villages. Among them is the family of the boy Denis Korablev. The task of obtaining secret information about the creation of a new type of weapon that can change the course of the war is given to a Soviet agent acting undercover, Frans Hartmann. A complex multi-way operation begins. Hartman involves the chief of German intelligence, Walter Schellenberg, in whose field of vision is the German scientific genius Werner Heisenberg. The Gestapo also steps in and assigns an "employee of the German Foreign Ministry" Dori to Hartman. At the same time, in Moscow, under the leadership of the talented physicist Igor Kurchatov, work on the Soviet atomic project was intensifying.

The events of the film unfold first on the territory of China, in Manchuria, then transferred to the USSR, have an extensive geographical area: from Harbin to Leningrad, and cover the period from 1928 to 1953. The plot is based on the complex, full of dramatic events, the fate of a man — Boris, the son of an employee of the Chinese-Eastern Railway.
