This is the story of the politician named Zübük. He gets expelled from the political party that he is a member of, due to corruption. The journalist Yaşar wants to make a news story about his case and investigates Zübük's doings. Yaşar gets baffled at the sly tricks Zübük played on his village people. In the end, he feels sorry about Zübük's present situation, however, as things happen he becomes aware that Zübük has been tricking him.

Several times, he calls furrier Nubar who is to receive the goods, yet he cannot reach him. This worries Hasan and Yakup who want to deliver the goods without being caught. Unable to contact Nubar, Hasan goes to the shop of the other partner, Leon. He learns that Nubar has been arrested after a tip off was made. The experiences of a young man who is in love with the daughter of a prostitute

Cellat, the Turkish version of Death Wish, sticks fairly close plot wise to the template of the American film, with some scenes and bits of dialogue being almost identical. However, it also deviates from its inspiration at times and is at its most interesting and valuable in these little moments, providing lurid snapshots of a place and a culture.

Murat is a mafia boss. Commissioner Şahin, newly appointed to Beyoğlu, is after Murat. Murat asks his pregnant wife Nilgün for help with a smuggling job. However, during the job, Nilgün gives birth to a baby boy but dies herself. Before being arrested, Murat entrusts his son Deniz to Şahin. However, Şahin's enemies do not leave Deniz alone.
