A Tehran taxi driver becomes the impromptu protector of a desperate young pregnant woman after he rushes her to hospital, in this delicate, deceptively small-scale drama from award-winning Iranian director Reza Mirkarimi.

The story takes place at the time of Iran-Iraq war, 1988 (1367); When the pressure cooker in the house exploded and the father of the family was severely injured and eventually died, that was when Tehran was bombed.

At 80 years old, Aziz is a widow and the matriarch of the family. She suffers from progressive dementia and increasingly needs her children's care. The one most devoted to her is the youngest, Anoush, who is about to get married. Aziz lost her husband a few years ago and now appears to be in love with someone. When family members try to understand who Aziz fell in love with, they end up discovering that this person is Anoush.
