13-year-old Morris Gentry has just relocated with his single father, Curtis to Heidelberg, Germany. Morris, who fancies himself the next Notorious B.I.G., is a complete fish-out-of-water—a budding hip-hop star in an EDM world. To complicate matters further, Morris quickly falls hard for his cool, rebellious, 15-year-old classmate Katrin. Morris sets out against all odds to take the hip-hop world by storm and win the girl of his dreams.

Peter, Mike, and Enzo play together in a blues band after work. While Peter dreams of making it big as a musician, young writer Enzo searches in vain for true love, and Mike tries unsuccessfully to have children with his wife. The lives of the three guys are turned upside down when they meet the cosmopolitan, fun-loving, and attractive Turkish woman Aylin. Aylin studies at the Pop Academy and snatches a gig right out from under the guys' noses.

Sandra and Ulrike have to decide the fate of their mother, who falls into a coma due to a ruptured aneurysm and has to be connected to life support machines.
