Jason Woliner

Jason Woliner (born June 1, 1980) is an American comedy director, writer, editor and also a former child actor. He is the non-performing member of the comedy group "Human Giant" and has directed the bulk of their output. The group, which also consists of comedians Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel, and Paul Scheer, produced an MTV sketch comedy show that ran for two seasons. The show is currently on hiatus and in November 2008, The Hollywood Reporter noted that the group is developing a feature film with Red Hour Films, the production company run by Ben Stiller and producer Stuart Cornfeld. Woliner shot and edited the pilot episode of Jon Glaser's Adult Swim series Delocated and recently directed projects for comedians such as Patton Oswalt, Judd Apatow, Slovin and Allen, Chris Elliott, and H. Jon Benjamin. His brother, Zach Woliner, is a profilic puppeteer and has worked on Wacky Man: Rise of a Puppeteer. Zach created his alter ego, Wally Wackiman in 2006. The series was produced by The Britt Allcroft Company and Quality Family Entertainment in New York for New York City PBS Station WNET, and was filmed first in New York City and then in Toronto. It incorporated sequences from the British TV show Thomas & Friends. The series aired on PBS from January 1989 to June 1993, but aired re-runs until 1997. It aired on Fox Family from 1998 to 1999. It also aired on Nick Jr. in 2000 and on Canadian TV networks such as APTN and SCN. Elements from the show were incorporated into the Thomas the Tank Engine film Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
