In The Traitors, 16 celebrities meet in a French castle. This is where a psychological strategy game begins, because three of the prominent players are traitors who can eliminate fellow players in each round or be unmasked themselves. The question remains: Will the loyal players manage to banish the traitors from the game and share the profits? Or will one traitor succeed in deceiving everyone until the end and pocket the winnings for himself alone?

Spectacular living concepts or inspiring renovations: Which house has what it takes to be named the most beautiful building in Germany? To do this, design expert Guido Heinz Frinken is traveling all over Germany with various guest jurors to find the most fascinating house in the country. On their journey through the Republic, the professionals discover stylish houses of all kinds and evaluate them from the outside and inside. Whoever receives the title “House of the Year” will ultimately receive prize money of 10,000 euros.

The show relies heavily on product placement by the Swedish retailer IKEA. After the success of the daytime show, RTL launched the prime time version Einsatz in 4 Wänden Spezial - renovating whole houses instead of rooms.

Lukas Maler is a butcher. Albeit more out of necessity than out of passion: As the “Karajan with the scalpel”, his vocation was always forensic medicine. When he accidently destroyed all evidence against the “24-hour-killer”, his career as a coroner was done for. And not far from it was his marriage with his great love Diana, whom he could not offer anything anymore as a broken man. But Lukas gets a second chance when once again a serial killer terrifies the city because the murders resemble those of the “24-hour-killer”. Diana – who has ascended to head of the forensic institute in the meantime – knows that only the best one can solve the case. But he is not available. And so, she gets the second-best one: the most over-qualified butcher in town…
