The film's opening and ending also features new music composed by musicians Fabio Frizzi, Franco Bixio, and Vince Tempera (under the pseudonym Magnetic System).

It will finally be the captain who decides to leave on the first steamer to depart, even though it is not the luxurious liner he dreamed of.
