When a young female video editor loses her boyfriend in a car crash, she finds solace in watching video of him taken the night before he died. When he starts to communicate with her through that video, she must decide if he has broken through the barrier between this world and the next, or has she slipped off into madness.

After being betrayed, Evelyn accidentally meets Leo, and they form a bond due to a misunderstanding. As they face family disputes together, they gradually develop feelings for each other. After helping Evelyn expose Madeline's lies, Leo falls deeply in love with her. And Evelyn, through her interactions with Leo, gradually lowers her guard and accepts him. Finally, after experiencing a series of twists and turns, they gain genuine love and find long-lost family members.
