Triumph in the Skies is about the daily lives of the staff, working under Solar Airways (a fictional airline based on Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific). It has been compared to the now-cancelled NBC series LAX. It sparked an interest in aviation when first aired amongst Hong Kong viewers, as well as an interest in a small doll named "Triangel" featured early on in the series.

Chung Siu Hor and her husband Kam Tai Jo have been working hard for many years to establish a good reputation for their bakery. However, Hor discovers that Jo committed adultery with her best friend, Yan Hong, and she divorces with him miserably. Hor brings along her children Kam Wing Ho, Kam Wing Hing, and her adopted daughter Suen Ho Yuet to set up another bakery for a living. This drama revolves around human nature, family bonds, and love of the two families.

Leung Siu-Tong is an experienced undercover agent who returns from a long-term assignment in Mainland China to teach new undercover recruits at Hong Kong Police's Criminal Intelligence Bureau (CIB). During this time, he befriends triad member Michael So, who only agrees to the relationship because he sees it as a stepping stone to the role of gang leader. When the Qi Kingdom becomes dangerously overrun with political strife, ancient guardian spirits attempt to restore order by pairing incompetent King Chai with Chung Mo Yim, a smart and skilled shaman. Meanwhile, a rebel faction attempts to pair the king with Ha Ying Chun - resulting in King Chai naming both Mo Yim and Ying Chun queens. In the Eye of the Beholder is a TVB costume drama series.

Upon returning from a trip with her husband NG MAN TAK (Chung King Fai), cookery teacher LO SIU LAI (Lee Sze Kei, Louise) is shocked to find that her little daughter NG CHOI NI (Chen Fala) has started cohabiting with a homosexually inclined colleague LAU TAT YAN (Hung Tin Ming) while her divorced sister LO SIU MEI (Ng Wing Mei) is seemingly caught up in a love triangle between tenant YAU KAI (Mak Cheung Ching) and her ex-husband. By and by TAK is forced to retire early and stays at home all day with nothing to do. LAI, on the other hand, is lucky enough to have the opportunity to host a culinary show on TV. Everything seems to have happened too fast but this does not leave LAI frustrated and accursed. Instead she tries to get round every problem with even more patience and dedication, which however is not appreciated by TAK. The bickering continues until LAI eventually thinks of a good way to tackle TAK…

A Journey Called Life is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in March 2008. This is also one of the few TVB series that TVB has produced that dealt with real life issues and scenarios. It's a series that involved both morals and life's lessons. The entire series featured problems that teenagers and young adults have been dealing with over past decade, including drugs, abortions, rape, family trust and relationships, money and greed.

Steps is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in September 2007.

In "Haunted Pillow," TVB starlet Fala Chen is still obsessed with her lover (Gordon Lam) after their breakup and invariably suffers from insomnia. "Hide And Seek" casts a group of young newcomers into an abandoned school campus where they meet longtime janitor Mr. Chan who takes shelter at the school. Playing hide-and-seek after midnight, the teenagers go missing, one after another. In his self-directed piece "Black Umbrella," Teddy Robin makes solving conflicts on the street at night his mission and marks each closed case with his signature black umbrella. Before he calls it a day, he meets a prostitute who forcefully pulls him upstairs for business and unfortunately things spiral out of control.
