Jason Henry Dawe is an English motoring journalist, car enthusiast, presenter and television personality. He presented the first series of Top Gear in 2002 with Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, before being axed in 2003 to be replaced by more popular presenter James May. He took a three-year sabbatical from presenting and, in 2005, began presenting Used Car Roadshow. His new programme was a complete failure and was cancelled two years later in 2007. He failed to get a presenting role in future productions, and has since gone back to normal life in journalism.
