Your Hand In Mine was a long-running drama that was produced by Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp TV Channel 8. It was the longest local drama that had been produced by Mediacorp to date, with 180 episodes. Originally dubbed as the 2010 version of the acclaimed 2003 serial Holland V, it starred the veterans Chen Liping and Huang Wenyong, as well as Yvonne Lim, Belinda Lee, Cai Peixuan and Joanne Peh.

Renowned chef Qin Fen came to Singapore with his father when he was young to escape the war in his home country. Father and son started their restaurant "Wu Shuang Lou" after much struggles and was renowned for their "Wu Shang Banquet". Qin fen took in four disciples, Nan Hua, Xi Hong, Dong Bai, Bei Fa, and they received different secret recipes from him individually. Nan Hua became the most successful among the disciples. However, he went into a coma due to an accident and his wife Chen Hui Ying took over his restaurant “Hua Hua Shi Jie”. Ruo Feng dreams of restoring the legendary “Wu Shuang Banquet” and wants to seek the help of Xi Hong, Dong Bai and Bei Fa. However, the estranged disciples do not want anything to do with each other. The story is set in a block of government-rental HDB flats and revolves around its occupants. Everyday, heartwarming scenes of tears and laughter take place in these humble settings.

Unriddle 2 is a Singaporean Chinese drama. This drama serial consists of 20 episodes. It is a sequel to Unriddle, one of the first sequels in Mediacorp dramas in nearly 10 years. The sequel is also noted for its much darker tone as compared to the first series. As detective Xiaoman and her informant partner Zhengyi continue to solve bizarre crimes, the investigations become increasingly personal for the pair.

Holland V is a 2003 Singaporean drama series produced by MediaCorp. It was the third long-running drama in Singaporean television history, and was modelled on the long running Hong Kong drama A Kindred Spirit. Like A Kindred Spirit, the main family in the series, the Mo family, operates a small restaurant in Holland Village. Originally intended to be 115 episodes long, the series was extended to 125 episodes after performing strongly in ratings.

Liang Po Po: The Movie is a Singaporean film directed by Jack Neo in 1999. It stars the comedian director Jack Neo himself, who cross-dresses as the titular old lady, which in English is translated as "Granny Neo". Liang Po Po, a lovable 85 year old granny, decides to leave the Old Folks Home in search of a new life. Believing that she can still contribute to the good of the society, the determined old lady sets on a path where she soon realizes how her trusting and naïve nature can be used against her.
